How it works
Buoy sells attention as floating space. Every bubble on the board is a paying app. You buy a size and a length of time; when the time is gone, so is the bubble.
1 · Pay
Three questions, one screen: your link, a size, and how many days. The price is the day rate for your size times the number of days — 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 90 days, from $5. The total is shown before you pay, and checkout is handled by Razorpay — we never see a card number.
2 · Float
Your bubble rises from the bottom of the board with a golden pulse and joins the drift within seconds of payment. Tapping any bubble opens its details in the band at the bottom of the screen — name, tagline, clicks, and a link straight to the site.
The board holds 240 units of area. Sizes run S at $5/day, M at $11/day, L at $25/day, XL at $53/day, XXL at $101/day — measured in vmin, so your share of the screen is the same on a phone as on a desktop.
3 · Pop
As your run elapses your bubble shrinks to 75% of its launch size. When the clock hits zero it pops in public, your units go back on sale, and the bubble moves to Popped. 90 days is the longest run there is. We email you 72 and 24 hours before, with a link to buy another run if you want one — nothing renews on its own, and nothing is charged unless you choose it.
FAQ
What actually happens when my time runs out?
The bubble pops on the board in public — a burst animation, a note that your units just opened — and moves to the Popped archive. Its page stays online for good, switched to archived mode.
Can I buy a permanent spot?
No. Nothing here is permanent, ever, and 90 days is the longest run we sell. That is the whole product: the board keeps clearing, so there is always something to buy and always a reason to look.
Do I get a discount for booking more days?
No. The price is the day rate times the number of days, and the day rate never changes with duration. Ninety days costs ninety times one day. There are no bulk tiers, no promo codes and no rate locks.
Does paying more move me to a better position?
No. Bubbles drift freely and collide. Money buys size and time, nothing else.
Do I have to brand my bubble before it goes live?
No. Payment alone puts you on the board — we guess your name from your domain and generate a mark. You can set your real name, tagline, logo or four-letter face any time after.
Why does my bubble look slightly smaller than when it launched?
Bubbles shrink gradually to 75% of their launch size as their run elapses. It is a visible clock: a small bubble is one that is nearly out of time.
Is my bubble visible to search engines and AI assistants?
Every bubble gets its own server-rendered page with structured data, listed in the sitemap and mirrored in a plain list on the board page. That page stays up after the bubble pops.
