Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Buoy and any placement you buy on it. Buying a placement means you accept them. Buoy is operated by Interestship Career Solutions Pvt Ltd.
1. What we sell
A bubble is a placement on a shared board: a circle of a fixed size, linking to a URL you supply, displayed for a fixed number of days. Sizes and rates are published on the pricing page. Runs are 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 90 days; 90 days is the maximum, and the board holds 240 units of space in total.
We sell no permanent placements, and no amount of money buys a larger bubble than its tier, a better position, or preferential treatment. Bubbles drift and collide; position is neither sold nor guaranteed.
2. Your placement
Your bubble goes live as soon as your payment clears, carrying a name guessed from your domain and a generated mark until you change them. You may edit your name, one-liner and face at any time from your dashboard. You are responsible for everything you publish through your bubble, including where your link goes.
3. What is not allowed
We remove, without refund, any placement that:
- is unlawful, or promotes anything unlawful;
- points somewhere other than what it claims — including redirects, cloaking, or a destination that changes materially after purchase;
- contains malware, or attempts to deceive or defraud visitors;
- infringes intellectual property or impersonates someone;
- contains sexual content involving minors, incitement to violence, or harassment of an identifiable person.
We may also refuse or remove a placement where we reasonably believe it damages the board or its visitors. Where a removal is our decision rather than your breach, unused days are refunded pro-rata under the refund policy.
4. Payment
Placements are prepaid. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card details. Prices are as displayed at the time of purchase and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply. Each placement is a single prepaid purchase — there is no recurring charge and no subscription.
5. Refunds
Placements are non-refundable and non-cancellable once live. The narrow exceptions are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Your bubble ends
Every placement expires. When it does, the bubble pops publicly, its space returns to sale, and the placement moves to the popped archive. Its page stays online, marked as archived. If you would rather it were taken down entirely, write to us.
7. Statistics
We count taps on your bubble and click-throughs to your site, and show them to you. They are our own measurements, offered in good faith and without warranty of accuracy, and are not a guarantee of traffic, impressions or outcomes.
8. Availability and liability
We try to keep the board up but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Buoy or any placement is limited to the amount you paid us for that placement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or business.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. Changes do not apply retroactively to a placement already running. Rates may change at any time; the rate you paid is fixed for the run you bought.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
